The ICOM NEXT A3 is the current OEM-grade ICOM — an aftermarket interface built to the original BMW / ACTIA specification, not a BMW-branded genuine part (for the factory-branded unit see our Genuine ICOM NEXT A). It is the direct replacement for the ICOM A2: a significantly faster processor, more storage, and a rugged aluminium case built for daily workshop use, running the full ISTA-D / ISTA-P software stack. It handles full-system diagnostics and offline programming for BMW cars up to 2026, including F/G/I/K chassis, electric vehicles and BMW motorcycles.
